Payment Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
This Payment Policy explains how payments work on Velora — what you are paying for, how and when you are charged, the currencies and methods we accept, and how we keep your payment information safe. It should be read together with our Terms of Use and our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which it supplements. By making any payment on Velora you agree to the terms set out below.
What you pay for
Velora runs on a prepaid credits economy. You buy a balance of credits in advance and spend them on platform features as you use them — sending communications, unlocking media, processing contact requests and similar actions. Some services are also offered as a recurring membership. Prices for credit packages and memberships are always shown before you confirm a purchase, inclusive of any applicable taxes where required.
When you are charged
For a one-off credit purchase you are charged once, at the moment you confirm the order, and the credits are added to your balance immediately. For a membership you are charged at the start of each billing period on a recurring basis until you cancel. We do not store or debit funds for services you have not requested, and we do not charge you again for credits that are already in your account.
Accepted payment methods and currency
We accept the major payment methods presented at checkout. The methods available to you may vary depending on your country and the device you are using. Payments are processed in the currency shown at checkout; where your card or account is denominated in another currency, your bank or payment provider may apply its own conversion rate and fees, over which Velora has no control.
Authorisation and pricing
When you submit a payment you authorise us, through our payment provider, to charge the stated amount to your chosen payment method. We may run a small verification check to confirm a method is valid. All prices are set in good faith and may change over time; any change applies only to future purchases and never to credits or a billing period you have already paid for. If a payment is declined by your provider, the related credits or membership will not be activated.
Security of your payment details
Payments are handled over an encrypted connection by our third-party payment provider. Full card and banking details are entered directly with that provider and are not stored on Velora's own servers; we retain only the limited information needed to recognise a transaction, provide support and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We never ask you to send full card numbers by email or chat.
Failed, duplicate or disputed payments
If a charge fails, you can simply try again with the same or a different method. If you believe you have been charged twice for the same purchase, or you do not recognise a charge from Velora, contact us before opening a dispute with your bank so we can investigate and put things right. Raising a chargeback without contacting us first may lead to a temporary suspension of your account while the matter is reviewed.
Refunds
Whether a payment can be refunded is governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In short, credits are generally non-refundable once spent, approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, and certain processing fees are refunded automatically where a contact request is declined. Please read that policy for the full detail.
